In this case the left
lateral insisor was missing and gaps were present and the central insisors
were too long. The solution was to slightly shorten the centrals and to
place four porcelain facings across the front to mimic a natural smile.
For this patient the
canine teeth were bleached and the lateral insisors have had porcelain
facings (veneers) placed for a more natural look.
This patient originally
had ten year old discoloured composite facings. The first photograph shows
two new porcelain facings on the centrals and the final photo the completed
four facings.
This dramatic improvement in the patient's smile was achieved by placing
six porcelain crowns.
